Although definitely not an indie artist, considering she just signed to Jay-Z's label Roc Nation, the spotlight is on Willow Smith's debut track, "Whip My Hair," not only for it's contagiously simple chorus and the obvious influence of Rihanna (who also seems to be influencing Willow's style choices,) but also because she is niiiiine years old.....oh, plus she's Will Smith's daughter.
